 Special Veteran’s Day Program November 11, 2019 “Return to Vietnam” A Journey Back to Vietnam with Gold Star Families  Please join us on Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2019, for our speaker Bob Lauver, a Silver Star recipient (Battle of Hue, 1968) veteran as he discusses his return to Vietnam in 2002. His company on this journey included four Gold Star mothers, seeking to learn more of the ultimate sacrifice of their loved ones. The trip was featured on PBS as part of a Memorial Day tribute several years ago. This will be a moving and informative presentation, and we encourage you to spread the word of his program to veterans and others you might know who would be interested in this history and human interest story. Join us this Monday 11/11, 7 pm at the Best Western meeting room, next door to Country Cupboard, Rt. 15 Lewisburg. Please bring non-perishable or canned food item(s) for our annual SVC food drive.  SVC coffee mugs will be available for sale at the next meeting.. Mugs are only $5.00 each and will look great on your desk and they also make great gifts. Cash only. |
