June’s Upcoming Meeting

Susquehanna Valley Conservatives is pleased and excited to announce Brittney Morrett as the speaker for their next meeting on Monday, June 10 at 7:00pm. Below is detailed background information about Ms. Morrett. Be sure to read the website link that describes who she is and what she believes.

Her presentation will address several questions including the following:

  • I’m an older white male-how do I talk to minorities or youth about conservative principles?
  • Is it actually realistic to deport 12 million people?
  • Can conservatives lead on immigration reform?
  • Are purists doing more harm than good?
  • Why can’t we all just be Americans? Why do we have to target specific groups?

Plan to attend this meeting and hear what this young woman has to say about the future of our country. The meeting is free and open to the public. Youth and minorities are especially encouraged to attend.

Brittney Morrett was raised in central Pennsylvania and received her A.A. from Bard College at Simon’s Rock in Massachusetts, then graduated with a B.A. in Middle East Studies from The George Washington University in 2010.

After graduation Brittney went on to be the Communications Manager for CampusReform.org, the Leadership Institute’s grassroots mobilization site for conservative college students. Brittney currently works as the Youth Projects Manager for The LIBRE Initiative, a non-partisan, nonprofit that promotes economic freedom to the U.S. Hispanic community.

Brittney speaks at events like Right Online and various conservative panels/summits regarding topics from youth and minority outreach to effective activism. This year she was an emcee at CPAC and has been published in The Guardian, NBC Latino, and the Daily Caller in addition to being on several radio programs in the USA and Canada. At the recently held 2013 PA Leadership Conference she was a panelist on a mini-panel addressing the topic “Conservative Faces of the Future.”
